Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea?

Here's a strange one...

Last fall, my family took a trip to Illinois for Thanksgiving, and we stopped in an antique store to do some early Christmas shopping before Advent started. Like any great antique store, this one had baseball cards, both vintage and modern, but they also had some cards that I had never seen before:

Apparently, in 2025, Topps Chrome came out with a 200-base card set of SpongeBob SquarePants themed cards. While I don't exactly know why they made this set, I thought it was an interesting novelty, so I picked up a few cards.

Since these cards make references to very niche characters and places, the average person probably needs some context. Since I don't want to delve into a discussion of SpongeBob on what is supposed to be a card blog, I'll just give this little bit of context because I think it's pretty funny:

Don't worry folks, baseball cards will be the main focus of this blog, but occasionally I'll have some novelties and other interesting items. Thanks for reading, share with your friends, be sure to check out The Cooperstown Advocate, and consider buying me a coffee!
